Click & Collect
Where do I collect?
Our address is 5 Vanadium Place, Middleton, Christchurch 8025.
This is behind the Addington Raceway, off the Birmingham Drive and Matipo Street roundabout.
Please collect from the door on the right side of the building labelled “CLICK & COLLECT”.
When can I collect?
You will be emailed when your order is ready for collection.
Any changes to our standard collection times will be noted in the email, otherwise please collect between standard times: Monday – Friday between 8:30am and 3:45pm.
What should I bring?
Please bring either photo ID or a copy of your Order Confirmation email so we know we are giving you the correct products. 🙂
Can I click & collect outside of Christchurch?
Unfortunately we only offer our Click & Collect service in Christchurch for Canterbury based customers at the moment. For other locations please use our Delivery Service and we will courier your order to you. Orders over $100 qualify for free delivery to urban NZ addresses.
Are Linden Leaves products tested on animals?
No. Linden Leaves products are not tested on animals, and are 100% cruelty free.
Are Linden Leaves products made sustainably?
Yes. All of our products are packaged in recyclable materials and printed with natural plant-based inks. We also try to source our ingredients locally wherever possible.
What exfoliating agents do you use?
We only use natural exfoliating agents. Our Radiant Exfoliating Facial Wash uses Used for centuries in skincare for its ability to help hydrate and prevent moisture loss in the skin More beads, while our Foot Scrub uses pumice and ground apricot seeds.
Do Linden Leaves products contain parabens?
No. None of our products contain parabens.
Do any of your products contain petroleum oil?
No. None of our products contain petroleum oil.
What preservatives do you use?
Our body oils and bath salts do not contain any preservatives. However, preservatives prevent microbial contamination and ensure product safety, and so are required for some of our products. We only use preservatives that are universally recognised and approved by the FDA. Over the last decade there has been much research and development with preservatives, and so we are constantly updating as knowledge and the range of choice increases.
Do you use synthetic colours?
Most of our products do not contain colourants. Only our Aromatherapy Lotions, Aromatherapy Gels, and Bath Time Soaps are coloured with minute amounts of FDA approved colourants.
Do you use mineral oils?
No. We do not use any mineral oils.
Do you use any genetically modified ingredients?
No. We do not use genetically modified ingredients.
Why should I use skincare products?
Environmental and lifestyle factors such as poor diet, smoking, stress, and air pollution can contribute to premature ageing. Following a regular skincare regime customised to suit your individual skin type and needs can lessen the impact of ageing, and reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines, to reveal firmer, brighter, and healthier skin.
What does a NATRUE certification guarantee?
Our Natural Skincare Range is 100% NATRUE certified. This certification guarantees that all ingredients are natural, contain no synthetic fragrances and colours, no petroleum derived products, no silicon oils or derivatives, no genetically modified ingredients, no irradiation of end product and botanical ingredients, and that products are not tested on animals. Are your oils cold pressed?
Yes. All of our oils are cold pressed and unrefined, to ensure that they maintain all of their goodness. The oils we use are Sweet Almond, Apricot Kernel, Avocado, Rosehip, Chia, Amaranth, Evening Primrose, Known for its ability to help lock in moisture to the skin and its content of Vitamin C and E More and Grapeseed.
I have acne prone skin; can I use your Miraculous Facial Oil?
Yes. It is a myth that you cannot use an oil product on acne prone or oily skin. Often people use harsh cleansers to remove the oil, but in fact this often makes the skin produce even more oil, and as the cycle continues, the condition gets worse. Your skin needs to be rebalanced, and I suggest gentle regular cleansing, and our Essential Facial Moisturiser with several drops of Miraculous Facial Oil blended into it twice a week to start with. This may be increased as the skin rebalances. It is more complex than just skincare. Reassess your diet, exercise, and stress levels – as these can be trigger points for acne.
Do Linden Leaves products contain Sodium Lauryl Sulphate?
No. Our products do not contain Sodium Lauryl Sulphate.
Are the organic ingredients used in Linden Leaves products certified?
Yes. Our rosehip oil, avocado oil, evening primrose oil and white tea extract are all certified organic.
What is the purpose of pure gold in your gold range?
In eastern cultures it is thought that gold has many purifying properties. In Chinese medicine, the best acupuncture needles are gold tipped, in the belief that it helps to purify the blood, and in Japanese culture, gold flakes are sprinkled on food for this same reason.
Is it safe to use Linden Leaves products while pregnant or breastfeeding?
Yes. Our products are very gentle on the skin, and can be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Many of our customers find that our body oils help prevent stretch marks when used throughout pregnancy.
I suffer from rosacea. Are your products safe for me?
Many of our customers with rosacea have said that our Porcelain Brightening Serum has helped to lessen their redness, and even out skin tone. As a general rule water based products are preferable to oil based, but like eczema, every case is different.
I have eczema. Can I use your products?
Our products are suitable for most people with sensitive skin. We recommend our Natural Skincare and Herbalist ranges, as they do not contain any synthetic fragrances. However, everyone with eczema has a different set of triggers, so we recommend you trial a little of the product first.
Can your facial oil be used as an alternative to moisturiser?
Yes. Our Miraculous Facial Oil can be used in place of a daily moisturiser as it is absorbed quickly and does not leave a sticky or oily residue.
I have coloured hair, can I use your hair products?
Yes. Our herbalist range is suitable for all hair types.
Do you include a sunscreen in your moisturiser?
No. I believe the primary function of a moisturiser is to do just that – moisturise. Adding a sunscreen to a moisturiser affects its functionality by blocking the absorption of beneficial ingredients into the skin. In order to maximise the skins benefit from a moisturiser, only apply sunscreen 10 minutes after moisturising.
Are Linden Leaves products suitable for vegetarians and vegans?
Yes, all our products are 100% vegan.
Do any of your products contain palm oil?
Only our bar soaps contain palm oil. Sourced from suppliers who practice sustainable harvesting.
Do Linden Leaves products contain Lanolin?
No. None of our products contain lanolin, as many people appear to build up an allergy to it.
Can I use Linden Leaves products on my baby?
Yes. Our products are very gentle on the skin. We recommend using our Absolute Dreams Body Oil for a soothing and calming massage after a warm bath right before bedtime.
Can’t seem to get the last of the cream out of the bottles?
We moved to glass for sustainability reasons, but agree the little bit remaining in the bottom can be frustrating! If it’s any consolation, our lab team always overfill the contents in each bottle by around 5ml so as a customer you are actually receiving more than the stated quantity. If, like us, you don’t like to see it go to waste, try shaking the contents towards the side the dip tube finishes at and pump again. You may need to do this several times until it’s (mostly) all used up.
