You may already know that our Natural Skincare Miraculous Facial Oil is made from a blend of Organic Rosehip Oil, Organic Evening Primrose Oil and Organic White Tea – but do you know how these ingredients work to nourish, heal and protect the skin from sun damage and premature ageing?
Rosehip Oil comes from the seeds of a variety of Rose called the Rosa Rubginosa. The seeds are cold pressed and unrefined to produce an oil rich in Essential Fatty Acids, Vitamin A and Vitamin C.
Essential Fatty Acids are emollients and include Omega 3, 6 and 9. Although vital for our general health, our bodies are unable to produce them, and thus we must obtain them from natural plant and animal sources. Emollients have the ability to regenerate skin cells, thereby repairing damaged skin tissue and reducing scarring and pigmentation.
Vitamin A is a trans-retinoic acid made up of incredibly minute molecules, giving it the ability to penetrate deep below the skin. In combination with Essential Fatty Acids, topical application of trans-retinoic acid has the ability to reduce wrinkles and fine lines, while preventing further premature ageing caused by sun exposure.
The Vitamin C in rosehip oil stimulates collagen production, giving it the ability to heal sun damaged skin, and help your body maintain strong and healthy skin.
Evening Primrose Oil is rich in gamma linoleic acid, which can help treat inflammation, eczema, pruritus and scaliness. Topical application can enhance the epidermal skin barrier and reduce sebum production, thereby hydrating skin and calming skin irritations, inflammation and acne. Its high level of antioxidants counteract the detrimental effects of oxidation by free radicals, thereby protecting the skin from sun damage and premature ageing.
White Tea comes from the youngest leaves of the Camellia Sinensis, which are rich in catechin antioxidants, giving it the ability to neutralise oxygenation damage and inhibit excess matrix metalloproteinases (enzymes that degenerate collagen and elastin – leading to wrinkles and loss of firmness).
These super ingredients make our Natural Skincare Miraculous Facial Oil truly miraculous! – giving it the ability to smooth, soften, hydrate, brighten, and heal the skin. Experience it for yourself here.
